Kisah Aaliyah (Budak 3 Tahun Yang Di Dera)

Dipetik dr sebuah blog...

Assalamualaikum wbt,

selayaknya aku terima...

Tiga tahun dahulu....

Fikiranku berkecamuk bila anak sulungku bertanya : mama nak anak angkat tak?
Hatiku secepat itu berburuk sangka, apa hal anak bujangku bertanya ttg anak angkat? anak siapa pula? aku secara serius duduk berdepan dan bertanya khusus2 dgn anak bujangku, dlm hati aku mmg tak sanggup seandainya ada berita buruk yg berlaku dlm kehidupan kami...Tuhan. ...Kau lindungilah. ..Anakku mintak aku bertenang, tarik nafas dalam2 dan beristighfar. .

'Mama kenal A tak? Anak Datuk Dr xxx, CEO xxx tu..'

'Naper dgn dia?

'Dia dah terlanjur dgn girlfriend dia, so skrg dah pregnant, dia nak buang baby tu, tp abang kata jgn tambah dosa yg ada, tu yg abg tanya kalau mama sanggup jaga...' anakku bagai mengharap ikhsan dariku dgn wajah yg begitu polos.

'Naper plak mama? Suruhlah si A tu bertanggungjawab, biar mama slow talk ngan mak dia.' aku cuba memberi pandangan, lagipun siA tu masih punya mak bapak lagi dan bukan org sebarangan pula, masa kan...

'Anak siapa dia?'

'Entahlah ma...kalau mama jumpa dia nanti mama tanyalah sendiri, abg pun celaru tengok dia..'

....cerita itu bagai terhenti setakat itu saja. Aku spt biasa dgn kesibukanku yg tersendiri dan akhirnya terus terlupa ttg budak perempuan itu. Anakku pun tak pernah bercerita lagi...hinggalah pada beberapa hari selepas Hari Raya...

'Mama ingat lagi tak pasal si E (A punya girlfriend)? '

'Naper dia?'

'Dia dah bersalin, anak pompuan, mak nak jumpa tak?'

'kat mana?'

'kat apartment A, kat CJ...nanti abg mintak izin nak jumpa, pasal bukan senang nak masuk situ ma...'

'Dia dah nikah lom?

'Lom..A janji nak nikah tak lama lagi...'

Aku geleng2 kepala...mcm mana tak nikah dah tinggal serumah? Mak dia taktau ker?

Kembali kpd kisah E, pertama kali bertemunya mmg hatiku tersentuh. Aku tersentuh sebab dlm keadaan dirinya yg begitu, dia masih punya naluri keibuan bila anak kecil itu disusui sendiri.

Dan demi Allah, pada pertama kali aku mengangkat bayi itu, dia membuka matanya dan tersenyum lebar paling manis sekali hingga BT pun rasa terpikat sama, mmg hati kami terusik dgn gelagat si kecil tak berdosa itu, bukan sekali itu dia tersenyum bahkan Allah jua yg menjadi saksi bagaimana seorg bayi yg baru beberapa hari dilahirkan
'mengagah' aku! Kami seolah berbalas2 sahut menyahut, mmg terhibur aku dan BT, Dikpi dan si bongsu sama! Rasa bagai ada satu keajaiban!

Ikutkan hati nak saja aku bawa baby tu pulang kerana aku pun tak punya anak perempuan, Sibongsu kelihatannya begitu menyayanginya sekali tp ternyata E lebih sayangkan baby itu wlp masa depannya bersama A tak ketentuan lagi. E bersendirian waktu aku ke sana...

Bila habis pantang, E mengunjungiku dgn baby, ntah ya ntah tak, E mengakui tak pernah merasa suasana hari raya dan menikmati makanan hari raya seumur hidupnya lantaran hidupnya yg tidak menentu, ibarat anak gelandangan. Kononnya kedua ibu bapanya berpisah sejak dia masih baby lagi dan dia tak pernah sekalipun
melihat wajah ibunya melainkan pada sekeping gambar. ayahnya pula tak payahlah aku cerita kan di sini.

Berdasarkan ceritanya itulah aku masak semula makanan hari raya.

Istimewanya Aa ni, dia seorang anak yg baik, pemalu, pandai membawa diri, anak2ku melihat Aa bagai memandang ikan2 di dlm aquarium, tak berkelip2, mereka mmg menunggu masa saja bila Aa nak susu kerana masing2 berebut nak buatkan susu dan nak suapkan kemulut Aa yg ternyata manja dgn kesemua anak2ku...aku mmg beri kesempatan mereka bergilir2, aku ajarkan cara membancuh susu yg betul agar mereka dpt menikmati seronoknya menjaga adik.

Masa terus dtg dan pergi, kdg Aa dihantar kpdku dgn keadaan yg basah lencun tanpa diapers, bibir kering tanpa susu, aku tak pernah berkira dlm hal ini bahkan boleh dikatakan E perlu bgtau saja apa kekurangannya, aku akan cuba mencukupinya terutama hal2 kebajikan Aa. Dlm masa yg sama aku cuba membantu takat yg
mampu utk memprcepatkan pernikahan mereka namun ternyata A bukanlah jantan yg bertanggungjawab, janji demi janji ditabur, namun semuanya hanya mainan belaka, akhirnya hubungan mereka terputus! Banyak lagi kisah E dan babynya yg mengesankan jiwaku yg tersimpan dilubuk hatiku ini...

Kali terakhir aku bertemu dgn E pada hari raya tahun lepas, sebelum tu masa bulan puasa aku hubungi E utk bertemu dgnnya dan Aa kerana aku akan bawanya shopping pakaian raya, sebelum itu aku ada belikan Aa pakaian tp utk raya aku inginkan sesuatu yg baru utknya, agar dia gembira, aku dan BT dah cop mana2 shopping komplex yg punya byk gown cantik2 utk anak pompuan secomel Aa, kasut yg cantik2 sbb Aa dah pandai jalan terkedek2, dan juga pakaian siap utk E! Sungguh, Alhamdulillah aku diberi keizinan Allah dgn sedikit kelebihan rezeki utkku kongsikan bersama2.

Suatu ketika ( hujung tahun lepas) E menyatakan utk tinggal bersamaku selama 10hari - 2 minggu bersama Aa sekali.

Aku penuhi keinginannya dgn harapan semoga dia benar2 berubah. Aku hantarnya pulang hingga ke stesen LRT, itulah kali terakhir aku
bertemu dgn E..

' Kak, akak baca suatkabar tak semalam? gambar muka depan!'

Soalan itu walau belum jelas, aku bagai dah tersandwichkan separuh dari nyawaku sendiri! bagai benar belaka telahanku! tapi aku takut nak menerimanya. ...

'a..ada! naper R?'

"kaaaak!!!! itu Aaliyah!!!!! ' suara tangisan memesah dihujung talian.

Kami sayangkan Aaliyah. Suatu hari nanti kami pun akan turut jejak Aaliyah, moga Aaliyah sudi memaafkan kami.....

BERSEMADILAH AALIYAH KU DGN AMAN DAN TENANG...
Aku tak marah kalau kalian menyimpan rasa marah sama terhadapku, ya....aku mmg bersalah wlp apa yg terjadi adalah telah ditentukan olehNya

Oil prices dropped below $70 a barrel

Opec on Thursday brought forward to next week an emergency meeting to consider a cut in production after oil prices dropped to less than $70 a barrel for the first time in more than a year on worries about a global recession.

The move coincided with fresh calls from those countries within the oil producing cartel that are heavily dependent on oil revenues for their budgets – most notably Iran, the organisation’s perennial hawk – to cut output. Ecuador and Qatar also supported slashing production.

Even Saudi Arabia, the cartel’s most powerful member, which initially opposed the 500,000 barrel a day cut announced last month and is close to the US, appears to be in agreement that the group needs to reduce its production.

The kingdom, which boosted its output by far more than any other Opec member when prices were high and supply was struggling to keep up with demand, has already cut some shipments, according to ship tracking data.

Opec had said that it would need to pump about 31.3m barrels a day in the first quarter of next year to balance the market, well below its current output of 32.2m b/d, suggesting that the cartel sees a need to cut output by almost 1m b/d.

Ben Dell, of Sanford C. Bernstein a New York research firm, said Opec would need to make an additional cut of 1m barrels a day in order to avoid a glut in the market in 2009.

“Such a large cut in production is only likely to come from Saudi Arabia as the other Opec members are levered to higher oil prices in order to maintain their spending programmes,” said Mr Dell in a report.

The meeting will be the biggest test in more than a decade of Opec’s resolve and power to form a cohesive unit to stop tumbling oil prices.

The group will have to act decisively in its round of cuts because otherwise it runs the risk of pushing down prices even further as traders write it off as toothless.

Opec’s decision to meet next Friday came after investors sold commodities en masse amid worries that the credit crunch had mutated into a global toxic economic crisis that would damp demand for raw materials.

In its monthly report, the cartel said that even if governments were successful in unfreezing credit markets in the near future, “the fallout on the real economy from the financial market headwinds is expected to be considerable”.

Oil prices in New York on Thursday fell to a 14-month low of $68.57 a barrel after the US department of energy reported a large drop in the country’s oil consumption. It said total US oil demand averaged in the past four weeks at 18.6m barrels a day, 8.9 per cent below the same period a year ago.

In late afternoon trading, West Texas Intermediate crude oil, the US benchmark, was $3.37 down to $71.30 a barrel, while Brent, the European reference, was $4.21 down to $66.59 a barrel.

Misery Behind The Splendour Architectural Dubai

As we know, Dubai has attracted worldwide attention through innovative real estate projects and sports events. This increased attention, coinciding with its emergence as a world business hub, has also highlighted human rights issues concerning its largely foreign
workforce.

As you know, we always wonder at the grandeur of Dubai's buildings: the tallest buildings in the world, the longest bridges, and the weirdest architecture imaginable. But we never saw the other side, the misery behind the splendour, the 300,000 illegal almost-slaves who live crammed into labor camps, working—and often dying or getting injured—for a few dollars a day. Fortunately, the Guardian's correspondant Ghaith Abdul-Ahad reminds us about it

All of these men are part of a huge scam that is helping the construction boom in the Gulf. Like hundreds of thousands of migrant workers, they each paid more than £1,000 to employment agents in India and Pakistan. They were promised double the wages they are actually getting, plus plane tickets to visit their families once a year, but none of the men in the room had actually read their contract. Only two of them knew how to read.

Once they arrive in the United Arab Emirates, migrant workers are treated little better than cattle, with no access to healthcare and many other basic rights. The company that sponsors them holds on to their passports - and often a month or two of their wages to make sure that they keep working. And for this some will earn just 400 dirhams (£62) a month.

Holy Islamic key sets sale record

The key was sold for a record sum
A 12th Century key to Islam's holiest shrine has sold at auction in London for £9.2m ($18.1m).
The key to the Kaaba - the ancient cube-shaped shrine in Mecca - went to an anonymous bidder at Sotheby's.

The auction house said the price set a record for the sale of an Islamic work of art.
Made of iron and measuring 37cm (15in) in length, the key is engraved with the words "This was made for the Holy House of God".

The key was the centrepiece of Sotheby's Islamic art sale, which realised more than £21.5m ($40m) in total.

'Important symbol'
Head of Sotheby's Islamic art department Edward Gibbs said: "Remarkably, the sale realised more than the Islamic department's annual total for 2007, demonstrating beyond doubt the burgeoning and international demand for Islamic art."

The key is the only known example to be in private hands. All of the other 58 Kaaba keys are in museums.

Sotheby's said the key was "arguably one of the most important symbols of Islam".
The auction house said the keys were dedicated to caliphs, starting with the Abbasid caliphs in Baghdad.

"As a physical object, the key to the holiest building of an entire religion, it demonstrates the authority of the caliph and is the ultimate emblem of power," said Sotheby's.

Bagaimanapun penantian mereka ternyata hampa kerana anaknya meninggal sebelum Shahrial tiba.

Pengakuan bersumpah Balasubramaniam, bekas pegawai penyiasat Abdul Razak Baginda.

“25. During this discussion and in an attempt to persuade me to continue my employment with him, Abdul Razak Baginda informed me that:
1) He had been introduced to Aminah by Najib Razak at a diamond exhibition in Singapore.
2) Najib Razak informed Abdul Razak Baginda that he had a sexual relationship with Aminah and that she was susceptible to anal intercourse.”

Berikut adalah kenyataan penuh Bala:

The following is the full 16-page statutory declaration sign by Abdul Razak Baginda’s private investigor P Balasubramaniam on July 1.

I, Balasubramaniam a/l Perumal … do solemly and sincerely declare as follows:
1. I have been a police officer with the Royal Malaysian Police Force, having joined as a constable in 1981 attached to the police field force. I was then promoted to the rank of lance corporal and finally resigned from the police force in 1998 when I was with the Special Branch.

2. I have been working as a freelance private investigator since I left the police force.

3. Sometime in June or July 2006, I was employed by Abdul Razak Baginda for a period of 10 days to look after him at his office at the Bangunan Getah Asli, Jalan Ampang between the hours of 8am to 5pm each working day as apparently he was experiencing disturbances from a third party.

4. I resigned from this job after 2½ days as I was not receiving any proper instructions.

5. I was however re-employed by Abdul Razak Baginda on the Oct 5, 2006 as he had apparently received a harassing phone call from a Chinese man calling himself ASP Tan who had threatened him to pay his debts. I later found out this gentleman was in fact a private investigator called Ang who was employed by a Mongolian woman called Altantuya Shaaribuu.

6. Abdul Razak Baginda was concerned that a person by the name of Altantuya Shaaribuu, a Mongolian woman, was behind this threat and that she would be arriving in Malaysia very soon to try and contact him.

7. Abdul Razak Baginda informed me that he was concerned by this as he had been advised that Altantuya Shaaribuu had been given some powers by a Mongolian ‘bomoh’ and that he could never look her in the face because of this.

8. When I enquired as to who this Mongolian woman was, Abdul Razak Baginda informed me that she was a friend of his who had been introduced to him by a VIP and who asked him to look after her financially.

9. I advised him to lodge a police report concerning the threatening phone call he had received from the Chinese man known as ASP Tan but he refused to do so as he informed me there were some high-profile people involved.

10. Abdul Razak Baginda further told me that Altantuya Shaaribuu was a great liar and good in convincing people. She was supposed to have been very demanding financially and that he had even financed a property for her in Mongolia.

11. Abdul Razak Baginda then let me listen to some voice messages on his handphone asking him to pay what was due otherwise he would be harmed and his daughter harassed.

12. I was therefore supposed to protect his daughter Rowena as well.

13. On Oct 9, 2006 I received a phone call from Abdul Razak Baginda at about 9.30am informing me that Altantuya was in his office and he wanted me there immediately. As I was in the midst of a surveillance, I sent my assistant Suras to Abdul Razak Baginda’s office and I followed a little later. Suras managed to control the situation and had persuaded Altantuya and her two friends to leave the premises. However Altantuya left a note written on some Hotel Malaya notepaper, in English, asking Abdul Razak Baginda to call her on her handphone (number given) and wrote down her room number as well.

14. Altantuya had introduced herself to Suras as ‘Aminah’ and had informed Suras she was there to see her boyfriend Abdul Razak Baginda.

15. These three Mongolian girls however returned to Abdul Razak Baginda’s office at the Bangunan Getah Asli, Jalan Ampang again, the next day at about 12 noon. They did not enter the building but again informed Suras that they wanted to meet Aminah’s boyfriend, Abdul Razak Baginda.

16. On Oct 11, 2006, Aminah returned to Abdul Razak Baginda’s office on her own and gave me a note to pass to him, which I did. Abdul Razak Baginda showed me the note which basically asked him to call her urgently.

17. I suggested to Abdul Razak Baginda that perhaps it may be wise to arrange for Aminah to be arrested if she harassed him further, but he declined as he felt she would have to return to Mongolia as soon as her cash ran out.

18. In the meantime, I had arranged for Suras to perform surveillance on Hotel Malaya to monitor the movements of these three Mongolian girls, but they recognised him. Apparently they become friends with Suras after that and he ended up spending a few nights in their hotel room.

19. When Abdul Razak Baginda discovered Suras was becoming close to Aminah he asked me to pull him out from Hotel Malaya.

20. On the Oct 14, 2006, Aminah turned up at Abdul Razak Baginda’s house in Damansara Heights when I was not there. Abdul Razak Baginda called me on my handphone to inform me of this so I rushed back to his house. As I arrived, I noticed Aminah outside the front gates shouting “Razak, bastard, come out from the house”. I tried to calm her down but couldn’t, so I called the police who arrived in two patrol cars. I explained the situation to the police, who took her away to the Brickfields police station.

21. I followed the patrol cars to Brickfields police station in a taxi. I called Abdul Razak Baginda and his lawyer Dirren to lodge a police report but they refused.

22. When I was at the Brickfields police station, Aminah’s own private investigator, one Mr Ang arrived and we had a discussion. I was told to deliver a demand to Abdul Razak Baginda for US$500,000 and three tickets to Mongolia, apparently as commission owed to Aminah from a deal in Paris.

23. As Aminah had calmed down at this stage, a policewoman at the Brickfields police station advised me to leave and settle the matter amicably.

24. I duly informed Abdul Razak Baginda of the demands Aminah had made and told him I was disappointed that no one wanted to back me up in lodging a police report. We had a long discussion about the situation when I expressed a desire to pull out of this assignment.

25. During this discussion and in an attempt to persuade me to continue my employment with him, Abdul Razak Baginda informed me that:
1) He had been introduced to Aminah by Najib Razak at a diamond exhibition in Singapore.
2) Najib Razak informed Abdul Razak Baginda that he had a sexual relationship with Aminah and that she was susceptible to anal intercourse.
3) Najib Razak wanted Abdul Razak Baginda to look after Aminah as he did not want her to harass him since he was now the deputy prime minister.
4) Najib Razak, Abdul Razak Baginda and Aminah had all been together at a dinner in Paris.
5) Aminah wanted money from him as she felt she was entitled to a US$500,000 commission on a submarine deal she assisted with in Paris.

26. On Oct 19, 2006, I arrived at Abdul Razak Baginda’s house in Damansara Heights to begin my night duty. I had parked my car outside as usual. I saw a yellow Proton Perdana taxi pass by with three ladies inside, one of whom was Aminah. The taxi did a U-turn and stopped in front of the house where these ladies rolled down the window and wished me ‘Happy Deepavali’. The taxi then left.

27. About 20 minutes later the taxi returned with only Aminah in it. She got out of the taxi and walked towards me and started talking to me. I sent an SMS to Abdul Razak Baginda informing him “Aminah was here”. I received an SMS from Razak instructing me “to delay her until my man comes”.

28. Whist I was talking to Aminah, she informed me of the following:
1) That she met Abdul Razak Baginda in Singapore with Najib Razak.
2) That she had also met Abdul Razak Baginda and Najib Razak at a dinner in Paris.
3) That she was promised a sum of US$500,000.00 as commission for assisting in a submarine deal in Paris.
4) That Abdul Razak Baginda had bought her a house in Mongolia but her brother had refinanced it and she needed money to redeem it.
5) That her mother was ill and she needed money to pay for her treatment.
6) That Abdul Razak Baginda had married her in Korea as her mother is Korean whilst her father was a Mongolian/Chinese mix.

7) That if I wouldn’t allow her to see Abdul Razak Baginda, would I be able to arrange for her to see Najib Razak.

29. After talking to Aminah for about 15 minutes, a red Proton Aeroback arrived with a woman and two men. I now know the woman to be lance corporal Rohaniza and the men, Azilah Hadri and Sirul Azahar. They were all in plainclothes. Azilah walked towards me while the other two stayed in the car.

30. Azilah asked me whether the woman was Aminah and I said “Yes”. He then walked off and made a few calls on his handphone. After 10 minutes another vehicle, a blue Proton Saga, driven by a Malay man, passed by slowly. The drivers window had been wound down and the driver was looking at us.

31. Azilah then informed me they would be taking Aminah away. I informed Aminah they were arresting her. The other two persons then got out of the red Proton and exchanged seats so that lance corporal Rohaniza and Aminah were in the back while the two men were in the front. They drove off and that is the last I ever saw of Aminah.

32. Abdul Razak Baginda was not at home when all this occurred.

33. After Oct 19, 2006, I continued to work for Abdul Razak Baginda at his house in Damansara Heights from 7pm to 8am the next morning, as he had been receiving threatening text messages from a woman called ‘Amy’ who was apparently ‘Aminah’s’ cousin in Mongolia.

34. On the night of Oct 20, 2006, both of Aminah’s girlfriends turned up at Abdul Razak Baginda’s house enquiring where Aminah was. I informed them she had been arrested the night before.

35. A couple of nights later, these two Mongolian girls, Mr Ang and another Mongolian girl called ‘Amy’ turned up at Abdul Razak Baginda’s house looking for Aminah as they appeared to be convinced she was being held in the house.

36. A commotion began so I called the police who arrived shortly thereafter in a patrol car. Another patrol car arrived a short while later in which was the investigating officer from the Dang Wangi police station who was in charge of the missing persons report lodged by one of the Mongolians girls, I believe was Amy.

37. I called Abdul Razak Baginda who was at home to inform him of the events taking place at his front gate. He then called DSP Musa Safri and called me back informing me that Musa Safri would be calling handphone and I was to pass the phone to the inspector from Dang Wangi police station.

38. I then received a call on my handphone from Musa Safri and duly handed the phone to the Dang Wangi inspector. The conversation lasted 3-4 minutes after which he told the girls to disperse and to go to see him the next day.

39. On or about Oct 24, 2006, Abdul Razak Baginda instructed me to accompany him to the Brickfields police station as he had been advised to lodge a police report about the harassment he was receiving from these Mongolian girls.

40. Before this, Amy had sent me an SMS informing me she was going to Thailand to lodge a report with the Mongolian consulate there regarding Aminah’s disappearance. Apparently she had sent the same SMS to Abdul Razak Baginda. This is why he told me he had been advised to lodge a police report.

41. Abdul Razak Baginda informed me that DPS Musa Safri had introduced him to one DSP Idris, the head of the criminal division, Brickfields police station, and that Idris had referred him to ASP Tonny.

42. When Abdul Razak Baginda had lodged his police report at Brickfields police station, in front of ASP Tonny, he was asked to make a statement but he refused as he said he was leaving for overseas. He did however promise to prepare a statement and hand ASP Tonny a thumbdrive. I know that this was not done as ASP Tonny told me.

43. However ASP Tonny asked me the next day to provide my statement instead and so I did.

44. I stopped working for Abdul Razak Baginda on Oct 26, 2006 as this was the day he left for Hong Kong on his own.

45. In mid-November 2006, I received a phone call from ASP Tonny from the IPK Jalan Hang Tuah asking me to see him regarding Aminah’s case. When I arrived there I was immediately arrested under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation.

46. I was then placed in the lock up and remanded for five days. On the third day, I was released on police bail.

47. At the end of November 2006, the D9 department of the IPK sent a detective to my house to escort me to the IPK Jalan Hang Tuah. When I arrived, I was told I was being arrested under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. I was put in the lock up and remanded for seven days.

48. I was transported to Bukit Aman where I was interrogated and questioned about an SMS I had received from Abdul Razak Baginda on Oct 19, 2006 which read “delay her until my man arrives”. They had apparently retrieved this message from Abdul Razak Baginda’s handphone.

49. They then proceeded to record my statement from 8.30 am to 6pm everyday for seven consecutive days. I told them all I knew including everything Abdul Razak Baginda and Aminah had told me about their relationships with Najib Razak but when I came to sign my statement, these details had been left out.

50. I have given evidence in the trial of Azilah, Sirul and Abdul Razak Baginda at the Shah Alam High Court. The prosecutor did not ask me any questions in respect of Aminah’s relationship with Najib Razak or of the phone call I received from DSP Musa Safri, whom I believe was the ADC for Najib Razak and/or his wife.

51. On the day Abdul Razak Baginda was arrested, I was with him at his lawyers office at 6.30am. Abdul Razak Baginda informed us that he had sent Najib Razak an SMS the evening before as he refused to believe he was to be arrested, but had not received a response.

52. Shortly thereafter, at about 7.30am, Abdul Razak Baginda received an SMS from Najib Razak and showed, this message to both myself and his lawyer. This message read as follows: “ I am seeing IGP at 11am today … matter will be solved … be cool”.

53. I have been made to understand that Abdul Razak Baginda was arrested the same morning at his office in the Bangunan Getah Asli, Jalan Ampang.

54. The purpose of this Statutory declaration is to:

1) State my disappointment at the standard of investigations conducted by the authorities into the circumstances surrounding the murder of Altantuya Shaaribuu.
2) Bring to the notice of the relevant authorities the strong possibility that there are individuals other than the three accused who must have played a role in the murder of Altantuya Shaaribuu.

3) Persuade the relevant authorities to reopen their investigations into this case immediately so that any fresh evidence may be presented to the court prior to submissions at the end of the prosecutions case.
4) Emphasise the fact that having been a member of the Royal Malaysian Police Force for 17 years, I am absolutely certain no police officer would shoot someone in the head and blow up their body without receiving specific instructions from their superiors first.
5) Express my concern that should the defence not be called in the said murder trial, the accused, Azilah and Sirul will not have to swear on oath and testify as to the instructions they received and from whom they were given.

55. And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same be true and by virtue of the provisions of the Statutory Declaration Act 1960.

PROBLEM DRIVING AT NIGHT : BE SAFE
CCTV camera records Mat Rempit attack

VIOLENT crime in progress: These pictures tell how 14 Mat Rempit ganged up to beat and rob five women during an early morning fuel stop in Bangsar.
A CCTV surveillance camera captured the attack on the three sisters and two of their cousins at the Shell petrol station in Jalan Bangsar.

Traumatised, they have vowed never to go to a petrol station again after dark.

Twelve young thugs, on six motorcycles, were said to be 'hovering around the station' while a pair on another motorcycle filled up as the women drove in about 3.30am on Saturday.

They were on their way home after a function in Puchong. Sisters Uma Munusamy, 33, Chittra, 32, and Latha, 31, were to drop off cousins Ragas Letchumanan, 28, and Komala, 20, at their Bangsar home when they decided to stop for fuel.

They drove up to a pump at the station. Latha went to the window counter to pay, while Chittra, who was driving, got out to fill up. That was when the Mat Rempit, who had been noisy and boisterous, moved in, as if acting on cue.

One thug attacked Latha, splashing a can of 'Red Bull' energy drink on her face. The sweet-sour liquid stung her eyes, temporarily blinding her as the thug pushed her down, hit her with the drink can and snatched her gold chain and handphone.

Another three dashed to the car to attack the others.

'We were in fear. We thought that we had been splashed with acid, as the liquid they threw on our faces really stung,' said Uma, recalling the attack.

The women screamed for help, but none arrived. The petrol station workers were safe and sound, inside the premises, where the doors had been locked at midnight.
'The workers just stood there, watching,' said Latha.
At the car, the Mat Rempit ordered the girls to hand over their valuables
and handphones. One of them just couldn't wait. He yanked Uma's gold
bracelet off one wrist and at the same time snatched the handphone she
held in the other hand.
Despite fearing for their lives, the girls put up a fight, trying to prevent the robbers from getting away with their belongings. The scuffles only led to injuries, but fortunately, minor ones.
Ragas was hit on the head several times, while Chittra sustained
injuries on her neck and right arm, besides suffering an injury to the
lower lip. She was then beaten up with a soda can.
'The whole incident really traumatised us but what was worse was the
fact the workers did not even bother to help,' said Uma.
This is one nightmare they do not ever want to experience again. And,
for them at least, no more filling up fuel at night, or stopping anywhere
either during the wee hours. Their total loss: RM3,000 in cash and
valuables.
The five made a report at the Brickfields police station soon after
recovering from the shock of the attack. Police said they are investigating, and have yet to identify the culprits.
The women also expressed their frustration over the Mat Rempit
menace.
'So much has been said, so much anger and frustration has been
expressed over these motorcycle thugs... but yet they seem to be having
a free run,' said Chittra.
Their only hope is that justice will be done, that the CCTV images captured by the surveillance camera will lead to arrests and conviction.

Think twice before venturing out at night. Even with CCTV and people watching, nobody will help you all. Take care of your own self.

Israel 'has 150 nuclear weapons'

Ex-US President Jimmy Carter has said Israel has at least 150 atomic weapons in its arsenal.

The Israelis have never confirmed they have nuclear weapons, but this has been widely assumed since a scientist leaked details in the 1980s.

Mr Carter made his comments on Israel's weapons at a press conference at the annual literary Hay Festival in Wales.

He also described Israeli treatment of Palestinians as "one of the greatest human rights crimes on earth".

Mr Carter gave the figure for the Israeli nuclear arsenal in response to a question on US policy on a possible nuclear-armed Iran, arguing that any country newly armed with atomic weapons faced overwhelming odds.

"The US has more than 12,000 nuclear weapons; the Soviet Union (sic) has about the same; Great Britain and France have several hundred, and Israel has 150 or more," he said.

"We have a phalanx of enormous capabilities, not only of weaponry but also of rockets to deliver every one of those missiles on a pinpoint accuracy target."

Most experts estimate that Israel has between 100 and 200 nuclear warheads, largely based on information leaked to the Sunday Times newspaper in the 1980s by Mordechai Vanunu, a former worker at the country's Dimona nuclear reactor.

The US, a key ally of Israel, has in general followed the country's policy of "nuclear ambiguity", neither confirming or denying the existence of its assumed arsenal.

However, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert included Israel among a list of nuclear states in comments in December 2006, a week after US Defence Secretary Robert Gates used a similar form of words during a Senate hearing.

Former Israeli military intelligence chief Aharon Zeevi-Farkash told Reuters news agency he considered Mr Carter's comments "irresponsible" .

"The problem is that there are those who can use these statements when it comes to discussing the international effort to prevent Iran getting nuclear weapons," he said.

'Imprisonment'

During the press briefing, Mr Carter expressed his support for Israel as a country, but criticised its domestic and foreign policy.

"One of the greatest human rights crimes on earth is the starvation and imprisonment of 1.6m Palestinians, " he said.

The former US president cited statistics which he said showed the nutritional intake of some Palestinian children was below that of children in Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as saying the European position on Israel could be best described as "supine".

Mr Carter, awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in 2002, brokered the 1979 Egypt-Israel peace treaty, the first between Israel and an Arab state.

In April he controversially held talks in the Syrian capital Damascus with Khaled Meshaal, leader of the militant Palestinian movement Hamas

Siapa Saiful Bukhari yg sebenarnya????

Memang seekor MUSANG!

Satu persoalan, atas pembiayaan siapa?

Kebimbangan kami nyata berasas.

Can a family man with Salary RM3,000 survive in Malaysia

Let's do some simple calculations here.

In Malaysia, the average family income is RM3,000 /month (where father works, mother doesn't).

I understand there are many families whose monthly income does not reach RM3,000, but, to make things simple, let's take RM3,000 as the figure. Ok lah, right?

Okay, let's start rolling with a family which has Papa, Mama, 1 daughter and 1 son. Ngam-ngam ....

Calculation starts...

1. Electricity and water bill: RM100 (No air-con, No home theatre, No water heater ... ok?)

2. Phone bill ( Telekom): RM100
3. Meals for a happy family: RM775 (3 meals on RM25/day, RM25 for 4 persons...?)

4. Papa makan / teh-tarik during working hrs: RM155 (RM5/day, RM5 ... can eat what?)
5. Car repayment: RM400 (A proton saga aeroback, 7 yrs repayment)
6. Petrol (living in city, traffic-jam) : RM500 (go to work, bring son to school, only can afford one car running)
7. Insurance: RM450 (kids, wife and myself)
8. House repayment: RM750 (low cost housing repayment for 30 yrs, retired still have to work to pay!)
9. Tuition: RM80 (got that cheap meh? i don't think so)
10.Older children pocket money @ school: RM20 (RM1/day, eat bread?)
11.School fees: RM30 (enough ah?)
12.School books and etc: RM100 (always got extra to pay in school)
13. Younger children milk powder: RM50 (cannot have the DHA, BHA, PHA one, expensive)
14.Miscellaneous: RM100 (shampoo, rice, sauce, toilet paper)
15.Oh wait!!! I have to stop here, so...
No Astro,
no movie @ cinema,
no DVD,
no CD,
no online,
cannot KFC,
cannot McDonald,
cannot go Park walk during weekend (petrol expensive),
no chit chat on phone with grandparents, and etc...

Let's use a calculator to total up... WALAO EH! Shit! RM3,610 already...
EPF belum potong, income tax lagi........ oledi RM3,610 ....
How to survive lah tuan-tuan dan puan-puan sekalian ???
Our Deputy Prime Minister asked us to change lifestyle?
How to change? Don't eat? Don't work? Don't send children to school and study?
Besides that, I believe in Malaysia population, there are millions of rakyat Malaysia which still don't earn RM3,000/month! !

What is this? Inilah Malaysia Boleh... Sorry ... it should be
Malaysians Boleh , because we're still alive and kicking!!
Our politicians must be mad!!!!

Please comment boleh or tak boleh. No wonder so many Ah Loong around lah....
